Ordering Options

Subscription: Sign up for a weekly subscription and eliminate the hassle of having to reorder each week. You will be charged on a weekly basis and can cancel the subscription at any time. We will keep track of your returned jars. After 6 sets of jars (one 1 liter jar, and two small toppings jars) have been returned, your seventh soup is free! Sign up and enjoy effort-free delivery, and a delicious batch of soup every week.

One Time Order: Customers are welcome to make a one time purchase.  This option will be available when you place your order.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to Santa Barbara and its surrounding towns.  Listed below are all of the zip codes we deliver to. If your zip code is not listed we advise that you don't purchase from Ladle Co., as we will not be able to fulfill your order.

When will my order be delivered?

All soups are delivered on Wednesday between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Can I pick a different day for my soup to be delivered?

To streamline preparation and delivery we need to adhere to a schedule and deliver all soups on the same day.

However, your soup will stay fresh and delicious several days after delivery.  You can also easily freeze your jars upon delivery, and defrost the soup when you are ready.

Where will my order be delivered?

Ladle Co. will deliver your order directly to your home.  If you are not home at the time of delivery we will leave your order outside your front door.  If there is a better location to leave your soup on your property (side or backyard, porch, etc.) please let us know in the special requests box when you place your order.  We are happy to accommodate you in anyway we can.

What if I'm not home?

If you know you will not be home for some time, and you would like to make sure your order stays fresh, we recommend leaving out a small cooler, or shaded place that we can leave your jars of soup in. 

What if I'm out of town?

If you know you are going to be unavailable to receive your soup on a particular week, but would still like to purchase a weekly subscription, we can reschedule your delivery.  Please send us a message by the Sunday before that batch of soup would be delivered.  We will make sure you will not be charged for that week. 

Soup Credit

Return your jars and get free soup!

We ask that customers leave their jars out for us to pick up when we make our next round of deliveries.  This is a great way to earn jar credit and after the sixth jar returned you receive your next soup on us.

What if I want to return my jars but only made a one-time purchase?

You can still return your jars, even if you're not expecting another batch of soup. You will receive a jar credit that you can use in the future. Please email us, and we will arrange a pick up time for you.
